Teams arrive and taken to housing. Please advise Chairperson of your
expected time of arrival and if you will need transportation to housing. It is
recommended that you secure transportation on your arrival, which will allow your
team flexibility while at the Worlds Series.
RECEPTION AND MAYOR’S WELCOME
Each team will receive a city
proclamation that will be personally presented by the Mayor
at the team reception hosted by the city. In addition
a formal proclamation will be presented to the Bronco World
Series Organization at the schedule City Council Meeting
prior to the Opening of the Bronco World Series.
A team
reception we be hosted by the city of Marina on August 4th,
2010. To be held at
the Marina Community Center from 6 PM - 8 PM
At the
reception each team will receive the following:
A full
meal, a gift provided by Marina Pony Baseball/Softball and
city pins provided by City of Marina.
Thursday, August 5, 2010
10:00 Transportation to
Jacks provided by Host Committee.
11:00 Teams report to Jacks Baseball Park for barbecue.
11:30 Tournament Pre-Meeting barbecue lunch.
12:30 Tournament Pre-Meeting Review of Affidavits and Documentation
Note: Teams
playing the first game on Tuesday must be in uniform ready to play.
Game time will begin at 2:30 these players affidavits will be check
first. Due the expanded format Opening Ceremonies will be after
the first game played.
After the First
Game on Tuesday all Teams will be at
Opening Ceremonies
in Uniform, Introductions, National
Anthems, Gift Exchange, the gift exchange is a small token example is a league pin.
If your league has league pins be sure to bring a supply. The players often
exchange pins they collect with each other.

Home Run Derby |
Limited to three team representatives who wish to participate players must be at Jacks
Baseball Park by 7:45 am. There is no charge for the Home Run Derby.
Upon conclusion, spectators will be asked to clear the park and re-enter for the day's
games. Participants need to provide own transportation to Park for Home Run Derby. |
