3 baseball players per World Series Team
WHEN: Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00
a.m. Participants must be at the park by 7:45 a.m.
Must be in complete baseball uniform or will not be allowed to participate.
WHERE: Jacks Park, Monterey (Participants must provide own
transportation to and from the park.
HOW: Complete attached registration form
& return it by 8:00 a.m., on August 8th, 2009 to the
Home Run Derby Director, David Russo

Rules
Each batter in the Home Run Derby will be
allowed 10 outs.
An out shall consist of any pitch that is swung upon and missed, fouled, or hit not out of
the ballpark.
Balls that are batted out of the ballpark in fair territory are considered home runs, and
are not outs.
Awards will be presented to the three baseball players who hit the most home runs.
If there is a tie after each player has been allowed 10 outs: 5 outs per remaining player
will be allowed; if there is still a tie, 3 outs per remaining player will be
allowed until a winner is determined.
During a tiebreaker, the same rules apply for outs as is described above.
Awards will be presented to the top 3 players that hit the most home runs.
