Managers if you need any

1. Meet and greet
the team upon arrival at hotel and present the team manager
with the Welcome Packet from the City of Marina.
2. Be the contact for the team manager to arrange
transportation to and from all practices and recreation

3. Arrange time for team access to the recreation

managers have questions regarding what Marina has to offer.

PRACTICE FIELDS, SCHEDULES AND
LOCATIONS
The City of Marina welcomes you and can
support your visit with quality practice fields and
supportive accessories to support pre-game practices. These
fields are located throughout the city. The city, as well,
will provide water and healthy snacks at each practice
location as needed. Pitching machines and batting nets are
also available as needed

COMMUNITY RECREATION FACILITIES LOCATED IN MARINA: YOUTH
AND TEEN CENTER
During your stay the two youth
recreation facilities will be made available to you for your
teams for constructive down time daily from 6-9 PM. The
Youth Center located at 211 Hillcrest Ave and the Teen
Center located at 304 Hillcrest Ave B. Each of these
facilities has available:

Computers
Board Games
Gym (Youth Center Only)
Outside Recreation Facilities
Light snacks and drinks will be
available as well during your visit.

RECEPTION AND MAYOR’S WELCOME
Each team will receive a city
proclamation that will be personally presented by the Mayor
at the team reception hosted by the city. In addition
a formal proclamation will be presented to the Bronco World
Series Organization on August 5, 2008 at 6:30 pm as part
of the Marina City council meeting.
Team reception hosted by the city of
Marina. (To be announced as more information becomes
available).
At the reception each team will receive
the following:
A full meal, hats provided by Marina
Pony Baseball/Softball and city pins provided by City of
Marina.
Tickets for the Monterey Bay Aquarium, for the Managers,
Coaches and players of the visiting teams. Sponsored
by the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Marina Community.
