Championship Game

Edogawa, Japan - 15, Bani, Dominican Republic

Bani, Dominican Republic had trouble keeping up with Edogawa, Japan in a 15-0 loss on Monday.

Edogawa, Japan got on the board in the top of the first inning after Rin Kawakami doubled, Misora Shimizu singled, and Rintaro Kobako singled, each scoring one run.

Edogawa, Japan added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after Shogo Gibo stole home, and Bani, Dominican Republic committed an error, each scoring one run.

Edogawa, Japan scored six runs on two hits in the top of the third inning. Ryosuke A drew a walk, scoring one run, Kyousuke Habeki singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Ryusei Sasako grounded out, scoring one run, and a passed ball scored one run.

Yoyo T stepped on the mound first for Bani, Dominican Republic. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and five runs (four earned) over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Habeki opened the game for Edogawa, Japan. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking none.

Starlin D Santos, Thorgen Vasguez, Starlin Valdes, and Joel Bonelly each collected one hit for Bani, Dominican Republic.

Rintaro, Kyousuke, and Misora each collected two hits for Edogawa, Japan. Misora drove the middle of the lineup, leading Edogawa, Japan with three runs batted in. They went 2-for-3 on the day. Misora, Shogo, and So F each stole multiple bases for Edogawa, Japan. Edogawa, Japan had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Edogawa, Japan ran wild on the base paths, collecting 11 stolen bases for the game.

Game Thirteen

Simi Valley, California - 2, Edogawa, Japan - 6

Simi Valley, Ca was defeated by Edogawa, JP in Game Thirteen of the 2023 Bronco World Series.
Kade M put Simi Valley up first, driving in a run in the first inning. Edogawa took the lead however after a Rinatro K 2 RBI double, making it a 2-1 game.  Edogawa extended their lead in the third, adding 3 runs.

Trenton N started on the mound for Simi Valley, allowing five hits, five runs and striking out three in two and a third innings pitched. Sojiro started for Edogawa, allowing six hits, two runs, and four strikeouts through four innings. Reily Loggins and Tristan T were for Simi Valley, each collecting two hits. 

Simi Valley has been eliminated from the 2023 Bronco World Series with a record of 2-2. Edogawa will move on to play in the 2023 Bronco World Series Championship Game tonight against Bani, Dominican Republic at 6pm

Game Twelve

Bani, Dominican Republic - 9, Laredo, Texas - 2

Bani, Dom Rep defeated Laredo, TX in Game Twelve of the 2023 Bronco World Series, Leonardo F led the way for Bani with three hits in three at bats. 

Bani got on the board first in the first with a Obed G RBI single, followed by a Thorgen V single, adding another run in the second. Laredo would get on the board in the fifth after a Jacob R single tied the game at 2 runs each. Bani would retake the lead in the sixth with Leo F and Thorgen V scoring runs. 

On the mound, Leo F started for Bani allowing six hits, two runs over four and a third innings pitched. Miguel M and Yoyo T came in for relief to shutdown Laredo in the latter innings. Jacob G started for Laredo allowing five hits, two runs, and striking out one batter in one and two-thirds innings.

Laredo is eliminated with the loss, as Bani moves on to play the winner of Game Thirteen between Simi Valley, CA and Edogawa, Jp at 10:00am. Bani will play in the 2023 Bronco World Series championship Game at 7:30pm tonight

Game Eleven

Simi Valley, California - 4, Edogawa, Japan - 5

Simi Valley, CA was defeated in Game Eleven of the 2023 Bronco World Series by Edogawa, JP, 4-5. Edogawa stays alive for another game with the win, forcing a Game Thirteen Matchup between the two today at 10:00am.

Sawyer Jackson helped put Simi Valley up first after a tag up. Tristan T led Simi Valley in the game with two hits in three at bats. Ean Devine and Wesley Tsuneishi each drove in one run, and Nathan Griswold stole two bases in the game. For Edogawa, Rintaro Kobako, Rin Kawakami, and Ryusei Sasaki each drove in a run. Edogawa totaled nine stole bases on the day.

On the mound, Kade Monica made the start for Simi Valley allowing six hits, two runs and struck out seven Edogawa batters through six innings. Hakuto Ichikawa started for Edogawa, allowing two hits, two runs and striking out one batter in three innings.

Simi Valley and Edogawa will meet again today at 10:00am for a spot in the 2023 Bronco World Series Championship Game against Bani, Dominican Republic at 7:30pm tonight

Game Ten

Cleveland, Ohio - 13, Laredo, Texas - 14

Cleveland, OH was defeated by Laredo, TX in Game Ten of the 2023 Bronco World Series, with Laredo securing the win off a Andrew Arreguin walk off single. Despite losing the contest. Cleveland totaled 17 hits in the game, while Laredo had 12. 

Cleveland struck first after Kaniel Laguer, Nicholas LaBahn, and Brady Rhodes each brought in a run. Cleveland added to their lead in the second after a Yadian Oliveras RBI single. Cleveland would score eight runs in the third inning, however Laredo answered back with six runs of their own, making it a 12-7 game in the third. Laredo tied the game in the seventh after a Alejandro Gonzalez double and Sage Hennessey single.

On the mound, Carter May made the start for Cleveland allowing five hits, seven runs and striking out two batters in two innings. For Laredo, Pedro Cisneros started going two innings allowing 11 hits, eight runs, and striking out one. 

Cleveland has been eliminated from the 2023 Bronco World Series as Laredo moves onto Game Twelve against Bani, Dominican Republic.

Game Nine

Edogawa, Japan - 8, Mazatlan, Mexico - 1

Edogawa, JP defeated Mazatlan, MX in Game Nine of the 2023, with Rin Kawakami leading the way for Edogawa with three hits in four at bats. 

Mazatlan struck first after a Alfredo M groundout brought in their lone run of the day. In the second Ryosuke Abe singled, tying the game at 1 run a piece. Hakuto Ichikawa tripled in the fourth, giving Edogawa a one run lead in the fourth. 

On the mound, Masatomo Tabuchigawa made the start for Edogawa, allowing no hits, one run with six strikeouts over five innings. Takuya Tange and Koo Sasaki each came in to throw shutout innings of relief. Santiago Torres started on the mound for Mazatlan, giving up two hits, one run and no strikeouts in one inning pitched.

Edogawa moves on to play Simi Valley, CA in Game Eleven, as for Mazatlan, they have been eliminated from the 2023 Bronco World Series.

Game Eight

Cleveland, Ohio - 6, Bani, Dominican Republic - 8

Cleveland, OH was defeated by Bani, Dom Rep 6-8 in Game Eight of the 2023 Bronco World Series, with Cleveland losing a 4-run lead in the third inning. Bani would capture the lead in the fifth inning after a Miguel Mella solo shot to right field, Aaron Santana drew a walk, scoring a run, and Starlin De Los Santos doubling, scoring another two runs. 

On the hill, Yadion Oliveras made the start for Cleveland, allowing seven hits, three runs, and eight strikeouts in four innings. For Bani, Yadiel Santana made the start, allowing three hits, three runs and no strikeouts in two innings pitched.

For Cleveland, Nicholas LaBahn went 3-4 at the plate, Kelien led with two RBI's, going 2-4. Bani pild up 13 total hits on the day, with Obed Guerro, Maxuel Montilla, and Mella each collected three hits, with Mella hitting two home runs on the day. 

Cleveland will move on to Game Ten against Laredo, TX at 7:00PM. Bani will play the winner of Game Ten at 9:30PM

Game Seven

Simi Valley, California - 10, Edogawa, Japan - 9

Simi Valley, Ca defeated Edogawa, JP by a score of 10-9 in Game Seven of the 2023 Bronco World Series. Simi Valley got off to an early 4 run lead and narrowing winning in tight finish. Sawyer J led offensively for Simi Valley, collecting three hits in five at-bats. 

Simi Valley's lead dwindled when Edogawa came back in the fifth with six runs, taking a 7-5 lead.  Rin Kawakami hit a grand slam in the inning, coming in clutch for his team.  Simi Valley would retake the lead in the last inning scoring five runs to make it a 10-5 ballgame. Edogawa would attempt to retake the lead, coming up just short with four runs in the inning. 

Rintaro Kobako started on the mound for Edogawa, allowing three hits, four runs, and one strikeout in one and a third inning pitched. Kade Monica  would make the start for Simi Valley, allowing one hit, no runs, and striking out three batters in two innings. Simi Valley totaled 14 hits on the day with Ean Devine and Sawyer Jackson collected three hits each, Riely Loggins and Tristan Theobald each drove in two runs.

Game Six

Laredo, Texas - 16, Brownsville, Texas - 1

Laredo, TX defeated Brownsville, TX by a score of 16-1 in Game Six of the 2023 Bronco World Series. Laredo was led by Andrew Arreguin,  Pablo Cisneros, and Alejandro Gonzalez who combined for five of the team's seven hits. Each scored and drove in six runs. 

Laredo struck first in their half of the second inning, going up 8-0 against Brownsville. In the fourth inning, Laredo scored eight runs off five hits with Cisneros doubling bringing in one run. Jacob Gonzalez started on the mound for Laredo surrendering one hit, no runs and striking out three in one inning. Sage Hennessey came in for one inning of relief, allowing not hits and no runs.

Christopher Ponce started on the mound for Brownsville, allowing one hit, one run in just one inning. G Cantu came in for 2 and a thirds inning, allowing two hits, six runs, seven walks  with five strikeouts. Offensively Cantu, Antonio Diaz, Jaime Pedraza Jr, and Angel Perez collected hits for their team. 

Laredo will move on to play in Game Ten tomorrow at 7:00PM against the loser of Cleveland, OH and Bani, Dem Rep. AS for Brownsville, they have been eliminated from the 2023 Bronco World Series.

Game Five

Erath, Louisiana - 0, Mazatlán, Mexico - 8

Erath, LA was defeated by Mazatlán, MX by a score of 0-8 in Game five of the 2023 Bronco World Series, with Mazatlán getting on the board first with an RBI single from Paul L. A single in the second from Gael C helped extend Mazatlán's lead to 2-0. Alfredo M would hit a home run in the third inning to increase Mazatlán's lead to 4-0.  

Konner S started off the day on the mound for Erath, allowing ten hits, eight runs with three strikeouts in four and two-thirds innings pitched. Humberto E was the starter for Mazatlán, allowing four hits and struck out four batters in the complete game shutout.

Mazatlán collected ten hits, with Paul Horacio, Alfredo, and Gael each collecting two hits in the game. Aiden R led the way at the plate for Erath with two hits in three at-bats

Mazatlán will move on to play Edogawa, Japan in Game Nine today at 7:00PM. As for Erath, they have been eliminated from the 2023 Bronco World Series

Game Four

Cleveland, Ohio - 14, Laredo, Texas - 4

Cleveland, OH defeated Laredo, TX by a score of 14-4 in Game Four of the 2023 Bronco World Series. Cleveland got on the board first in the second inning after a Carter Beck and Brady Rhodes single, each bringing in one run each. Cleveland would score six runs in the third inning, Mason Sauric scoring two of those runs off a double. 

Pedro Cisneros opened the game for Laredo on the mound, giving up zero hits, one run with one strikeout through one inning. Eric Rus would start for Cleveland, allowing two hits and a run over one and a third inning pitched, with one strikeout. 

Andrew Arreguin, Jacob Gonzalez, Alberto Zepeda, and Tristan Rodriguez each collected a hit for Laredo, with Zepeda and Rodriguez driving in a run each. Jacob and Rogelio S stole multiple bases, with Laredo stealing six total bases in the game. Cleveland would amass 13 hits in the game, Carter Beck and Kelien DeSimore driving in three of those hits. DeSimore would go 3 for 4 on the day and would total 4 RBI's. 

Cleveland will play tomorrow against Bani, Dominican Republic at 9:30PM in Game Eight. For Laredo, they will play Brownsville, Texas in Game Six at 7:00PM

Game Three

Erath, Louisiana - 2, Edogawa, Japan - 12

Erath, LA was defeated by Edogawa, JP b y a score of 2-12 in Game Three of the 2023 Bronco World Series, with Edogawa getting on the board early with two runs in the first inning. 

Edogawa would score six runs on just five hits in the third inning, Rin Kawakami would triple, scoring a run, Masatomo Tabuchigawa doubling bringing in two runs and Hakuto Ichikawa hit into a double play, but not before brining in one run. Misora Shimizu would hit an RBI triple, followed by a Rintaro Kawakami RBI double. Kojiro Hyodo would hit a two run homer in the fourth to add on to Edogawa's lead. 

On the mound, Ryusei Sasaki started for Edogawa, giving up no hits, no runs and two strikeouts in just one inning. Koo would come in for relief, pitching one and two-thirds innings allowing no runs and just one hit. Aiden Romero started for Erath, giving up two hits, two runs and no strikeouts through two-thirds an inning pitched. 

Edogawa would finish the game with 13 hits, Shimizu and Rin each collecting three hits. Tabuchigawa, Kawakami and Hyodo drove in two runs each. Edogawa stole 10 bases on the day as well. Jax Bernard, Colton Herbert, Leyton Jones, Romero, and Jacob Richard each collected one hit for Erath, their lone two runs coming from the bat of Leyton.

Erath will go on to play Mazaltan, Mexico tomorrow at 9:30PM in Game Five. For Edogawa, they move on to play Simi Valley, California at 7:00PM in Game Seven

Game Two

Brownsville, Texas - 3, Bani, Dominican Republic - 13

Brownsville, TX was defeated by Bani, DR by a score of 3-13, with Bani jumping out to an early two-run lead thanks to a Leonardo Rodriguez single. Miguel Mella would homer to right field in the second, giving Bani a four-run lead. Bani would add five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, with three batters bringing in runs; Juanyel Soriano and Maxuel Mateo bringing in one run each. Rodriguez would single, bringing in three runs during the inning as well.

Angel Perez would start the game for Brownsville, giving up two hits, two runs, and no strikeouts through two-thirds an inning pitched. For Bani, Yoyo Tejeda led off the day on the mound, giving up three hits, one run with one strikeout during his three and a third innings pitched.

For Brownsville, Christopher Ponce provided some help offensively with two RBI's and 2 hits in the ball game. Bani would amass 11 hits in the game, Miguel Mella going perfect at the plate today with four hits in four at-bats. Leonardo Rodriguez led Bani in RBI's with five on the day, and going 3-4 at the plate.

Bani will move on to play Cleveland, Ohio in Game Eight tomorrow at 9:30PM. As for Brownsville, they will play inner-state team Laredo, Texas in Game 6 at 7:00PM tomorrow.


Game One

Mazatlan, Mexico - 0, Simi Valley, California - 2


Mazatlan, MX was defeated by Simi Valley, CA by a score of 0-2 in the Game One matchup of the 2023 Bronco World Series. Both teams had strong pitching performances from their starters. Mazatlan was defeated despite out-hitting Simi Valley four to two.  Simi Valley would break the game's tie in the bottom of the sixth with a John Vargas IV walk and Nathan Griswold stealing home, bringing in the lone runs of the game. 

Alfredo Iturralde stepped on the mound for Mazatlan, giving up one hit and no runs with ten strikeouts in five innings pitched. Trenton Nelson would start for Simi Valley, allowing three hits, zero runs with two strikeouts through one and two-thirds innings pitched. 

Mazatlan will play in Game Five tomorrow at 9:30pm against Erath, Louisiana. Simi Valley will play in Game Seven tomorrow at 7:00pm against Edogawa, Japan.
